Hi,
solve by substitution
4=3x-y OR y = 3x-4
9x=3y+12
9x = 3(3x-4) + 12
0 = 0 Infinite solutions (graphically, the same line)
solve by elimination
3x-16=5y
-3x+5y-33=0
3x-5y=16
-3x+5y=33
0 ≠ 49 There is NO solution
