Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is there an even function whose domain is all real numbers and that is always decreasing? Explain.
--------
If the function is even, it is symmetric to the y-axis.
Then f(x) = f(-x) for all x in the domain; so it cannot
always be decreasing.
