Question: Two planes departed in opposite directions. After three hours the faster plane had travelled twice as far as the slower plane. Find the distance each plane travelled if the distance between the planes was 2250 km

x=speed of slower and 2x=speed of faster

(x+2x)*3=2250
9x=2250
x=250 km/h
3x=750 km. dist slower traveled.
6x=1500 km. dist faster traveled.
