Question 406673: My question is...solve for x, y, z.
2x+5y+z=22
3x-3y-z=-22
5x+y+2z=-3
I have...
2x+5y+z=22 -4x-10y-2z=44 45x+18y=0
3x-3y-z=-22 5x+ y+ 2z=-3 10x-18y=-41
___________ ____________ __________
5x+2y =0 5x-9y =41
I keep coming up with a fractionfor the last step.

2x+5y+z=22
3x-3y-z=-22
5x+y+2z=-3
---------------
x = -2
y = 5
z = 1
Sometimes the answers are fractions. Not this time, tho.
================
I have...
-4x-10y-2z=44 45x+18y=0
5x+ y+ 2z=-3 10x-18y=-41
---------------
1x -9y = 41 *******************

Hi
2x+5y+z=22
3x-3y-z=-22
5x+y+2z=-3
Solving by elimination
2x+5y+z=22
3x-3y-z=-22
5x + 2y = 0
6x-6y+2z=-44
5x+y+2z=-3
11x - 5y = -47
5x + 2y = 0
11x - 5y = -47
25x + 10y = 0
22x - 10y = -94
47x = -94
x = -2 and y = 5 ( 5x + 2y = 0, y = -5x/2= 10/2)
AND z = 22-2x-5y = 1
