what is the solution set to the following systems of equations? Explain what your answer means.
2x+3y=6
y-2=-2x/3
change to y=mx+b form
3y=-2x+6
y=-(2/3)x+2
This is a straight line with slope=(-2/3) and y-intercept=2
second equation:
y=-(2/3)x+2
this is also a straight line with the same slope=(-2/3)and same y-intercept
Both lines, therefore, are identical.
The graph below shows what the line looks like
