Question 39845: 32. Determine the coordinates for graphing the equation 3Y + 2X = 4Y – 2
Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From
3Y + 2X = 4Y – 2
it is usually easiest to graph if we solve for y...
3y + 2x = 4y – 2
subtract off 3y and add 2 and get
y = 2x + 2
Now there are an infinite number of coordinates that this line goes thru...
To find a pair, merely substitute any value for x and see what value of y is generated...
So if x = 0, y = 2 ==> the point (0, 2)
And if x = 1, then y = 4 ==> the point (1, 4)
and so on...
