okay you have to divide this problem
and -4x-12

First in you can factor out the common item x^2.... so it will be
x^2(x+3)
Now the common here -4
-4(x+3)
see how the x+3 repeat twice.... so make it one and put the x^2 and the -4 together. In other words
(x^2-4)*(x+3)
