Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1(1/2) = 3/2
Let width is x feet then length = 3/2 x feet
perimeter of rectangular field = 2(length + width)
= 2(x + (3/2) x)
= 5x
according to question 5x = 500
=> x = 100 feet
now, 3/2 x = 100*3/2 = 150 feet
length = 150, width = 100 feet
