There is a threshold levelof sound called I(o)
An amplified rock band has a level of sound = (10^11)I(o)
Formula for decibel measurement is Loudness = 10[log(I/I(o))]

Loundness = 10 log (10^11I(o)/I(o))
= 10 log (10^11)
= 10(11) = 110 decibels.
So the sound of an amplified rock band is measured at 110 dBs
