And number of apples be y
4x+5y= 3.56 ----------------------1
3x+4y=2.76-------------------------2
Multiply eq 1 by 3 and eq 2 by 4
12x+15y= 10.68
12x + 16y= 11.04
Subtract
-y= - 0.36
Y=0.36
X= 0.44 give answer in appropriate units

10.68-15a+16a=11.04
10.68+a=11.04
