Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=2y+3
x-2y=3 now multiply this equation by -4 & add.
4x-5y=9
-4x+8y=-12
---------------
3y=-3
y=-1 ans.
x=2*-1=3
x=-2+3
x=1 ans.
Proof:
4*1-5*-1=9
4+5=9
9=9
