Question 24984: 2PV+36Dv-2h=3 my teacher said that this is linear but my algebra class thinks its not because it has more than 3 variables . is it a linear equation? Answer by Earlsdon(6103) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! A linear equation is one in which the highest power of the variable is 1.
It has nothing to do with the number of variables.
Your teacher is right.
