Solve the following system of equations.

x+7y=9 (1)
x=3-7y (2) or x+7y=3 (3) after putting 7y on the right side.

What is the solution of system? Select the correct choice below and if necessary, fill in the answer box to complete your choice.
A. The solution is_____. (Type an ordered pair.)
B. There is no solution.

Note subtracting equation (3) from (1) leads to 0=6 which is not a true statement.

Also note that the left side of equations (1) and (3) are identical (which implies they have the same slope. Lines with the same slope do not intersect and therefore have no solution.
