Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
8x + 7y = -16 multiply by 3
6x - 3y = -12 multiply by -4 & add
24x+21y=-48
-24x+12y=48
---------------------
33y=0
y=0 ans.
8x+7*0=-16
8x=-16
x=-16/8
x=-2 ans.
Proof:
6*-2-3*0=-12
-12-0=-12
-12=-12
