Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X-Y=4 OR X=4+Y
2Y-4X=-28
2Y-4(4+Y)=-28
2Y-16-4Y=-28
-2Y=-28+16
-2Y=-12
Y=-12/-2
Y=6 ANS.
X-6=4
X=4+6
X=10 ANS.
PROOF:
2*6-4*10=-28
12-40=-28
-28=-28
