Question 1134250: 2x+y-z=5
X+3y+z=14
3x-y+2z=1

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x+y-z=5
X+3y+z=14
3x-y+2z=1
Several ways to do this.
first +second is 3x+4y=19
twice first + third is 7x+y=11
then write 3x+4y=19
-28x-4y=-44
-25x=-25
x=1
Therefore,
y-z=3
and
-y+2z=-2
-z=-1
z=1
y=4
(1, 4, 1)
check in all
works for first, second, and third.
