Assign a variable and try to modelize the given information.
one angle=x
the other angle=x+28
x+(x+28)=180
x=76
x+28=104
Hope it helps. Thanks!

two angles are supplementary (their sum is 180 degrees). One angle is 28 degrees less than twice the other. Find the measure of each angle
The other person's solution will be of NO HELP since it's INCORRECT!
With S being the smaller angle, the CORRECT equation is:
Solve this for S to get the smaller angle.
Subtract value of S from 180o to get the measure of the other angle which is the larger! This, I know for sure, will help!!

.
Let "the other angle" be x; then the "one" angle is (2x-28) degrees.

The equation is

    x + (2x-28) = 180

   3x = 180 + 28 = 208

    x =  =  degrees.

It is the measure of the "other" angle.

Then the measure of the "one" angle is 2x - 28 = degrees.

The solution by  @Alex.33  is incorrect.
