What is the equation of the line where the slope is 2/3 and passes through (6, -4)?

The slope/intercept form y = mx + b, where
x = 6
y = -4
m = 2/3
Find b
-4 = (6) + b
-4 = 4 + b
-4 - 4 = b
b = -8
the equation: y = x - 8
