Question 104073: Given f(x) = 3x + 2, find f (a – 1). Please HELP!!!
Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If f(x) = 3x+2, find f(a-1)
You simply replace x with (a-1) and work out the result:
f(a-1) = 3(a-1)+2
f(a-1) = 3a-3+2
f(a-1) = 3a-1 ...and that's it!
