Question 1015541: Use substitution to solve:
X+2y=11
-x-11=2y

Answer by FrankM(1040)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X+2y=11
-x-11=2y
multiply both sides of eq 2 by -1
X+11=-2y
add 2y to both sides
X+2y+11=0
Subtract 11 from both sides
X+2y=-11
The equations have no solution.
