: I just finished my math homework and I have a few that I am not sure if they are correct or not. Here are the problems, along with the answers i came up with. Please let me know if they are correct, or if they aren't correct, what I need to be doing instead.
(from Intermediate Algebra by McKeague Ch 6, secion 2)
2.) (6x^3+12x^2-9x)/(3x)
answer: 2x^2+4x-3
6.) (6y^4-3y^3+18y^2)/(9y^2)
answer: 2y^2-y+2
14.) (x^2-x-6)/(x+2)
answer: x+3
20.) (x^3+8)/(x+2)
answer: x-2
28.) (3x^3-5x^2+2x-1)/(x-2)
answer: [x^2(3+5)+2x+1]/(x-2)
32.) (9y^3-6Y^2+8)/3Y-3)
answer: 3y^2y[(8-3y)/(3y-2)]
