Question 187227: A right circular cylinder has a surface are of 112 pie. If the height of the cylinder is 10, find the diameter of the base?
When trying to solve this problem I am aware of the surface area of a right circular cylinder S = 2A+Ch but I am not sure how to find the unknown diameter so that I could then find my circumference and area of the cicrle in the cylinder. I have 4 buildings. The first, has 2 blocks in the first column(columns going down), 2nd column has 1. 3rd has 2
2nd building has 3 blocks in the first column, 2nd column 1, 3rd column 3 blocks.
3rd building has 4 in first column, 1 in second column, 4 in the third.
The 4th and final building has 5 in the first column, 1 in the second, and 5 in the third column.
Please find the perimeter of building # 1 ,2, 3, 4, 10, and building #50. This is a pattern.
