Question 176410: I am trying calculate the surface area of a series of hills for some re-vegetation work. I need a good formula as many of the hills are different sizes. One hill example: 40 ft wide by 30 ft long by 3 ft tall with a 3:1 slope. I am neglecting the real world variation in terrain and treating the hill as a 3D drawing.
