Question 614723: I am making a wildflower area for the DNR. I want the shape to be 1/2 of an ellipse. The space must equal 0.1 of an acre or 4356sq. ft. How long should the straight side be? We can go about 100 ft. Then do we measure from the center of the straight edge to the center of the arc? How deep should that be? Would it best to figure the sq. ft. of an ellipse, make that shape and then cut in half? How would I figure that? I hope you can help. I really want this project for the Department of Natural Resources to be successful and beautiful. Thanks, Michele Ulrich
