The surface area of a sphere is . It cannot be . It could be in which case or just in which case . But what you wrote is an absurdity, since 86 does not and never will equal 4.

The idea for your problem, if I don't miss my guess, is for you to solve either or for and then recognize that the radius is half of the diameter.
