Question 908422: The surface area of a sphere is 137.5cm squared. What is the radius of the sphere to the nearest tenth of a centimeter? I do not know how to work backwards explanations would be great!

Answer by rfer(16322)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=4*pi*r^2
137.5=4*3.14*r^2
137.5=12.56r^2
137.5/12.56=r^2
10.95=r^2
r=sqrt10.95
r=3.3cm
