Question 843083: what would I use to measure the perimeter of a park? would I use square inches or just inches to measure the length of a golf stick? what would I use to measure the volume of a swimming pool?

Perimeter is 1D; you would use inches, not square inches (better is feet or yards, but inches works). For volume, use cubic inches (or cubic ft, yd).
