The surface area formula
2(L*W) + 2(L*H) + 2(W*H) = S.A
Replace the given values for L, H, & Surface area
2(10W) + 2(10*8) + 2(8W) = 400
Simplify, divide thru by 2
10W + 80 + 8W = 200
18W = 200 - 80
18W = 120
W = 120/18
W = 6 cm is the width
