Question 822778: On my worksheet it says, You are making a sign. The length is 10 times the width. The area of the sign is 39 sq.ft. What is the width. I tried using the formula area=length*width. Substituted the numbers 39=w(10w). Then, I got 39=w^2*10. I don't know what to do after.
