Question 814548: On a large map if 1 cm = 16 miles, how many square miles would be represented by 600 square cm?
Answer by jsmallt9(3758) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 cm = 16 miles
Square both sides:
1 square cm = 256 square miles
Multiply both sides by 600:
600*1 square cm = 600*256 square miles
I'll leave it up to you to multiply this out.
