Question 799963: What is the surface area of 8 cubes with 2 meters sides?
Answer by jerryguo41(197) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since there are 6 sides on a cube, the surface area of a cube can be calculated by multiplying area of one side times 6.
Where SA=Surface Area and s=side
This is the SA of one cube.
Since you have 8, multiple 24 by 8
This is only true of the 8 cubes are not touching on any surface.
