Area of the square = 64 sq cm.
Side of square = 8 cm.
Perimeter of square = 32 cm.
Let width of the rectangle be w cm.
So, length is 3w cm.
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(w + 3w) = 8w cm.
8w = 32
w = 4
So, length and width of the rectangle are 12 cm and 4 cm respectively.
Therefore, area of the rectangle is 48 sq cm.
