To find the slant height
Slant height^2 = height^2 + radius^2
Slant height =
Slant height = 8.9 cm
Surface area of cone = Pi * radius * slant height
Surface area = Pi * 4 cm * 8.9 cm
Surface area = 111.8 cm^2 (1 decimal place)
2 cones base to base =
2 * 111.8 = 223.6 cm^2
Hope this helps.
