on each side. It could be a very long and narrow 0.1 cm by 1200 cm. or even longer and narrower 0.0001 cm by 1,200,000 cm. If you make it narrow enough, you could have it long enough to reach the outer reaches of the solar system and beyond. Or it could be anywhere in between.
