Question 749336: what is the surface area of a cylinder that is 6 feet tall and 9 feet radius
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You don't say whether it is a closed cylinder top and bottom
but I will calculate it as if it is:
Surface Area = 2pir^2 + 2pirh
= 2*pi*9^2 + 2*pi*9*6 (* is times)
= 508.938 + 339.292
= 848.23 ft^2
If it is open ended then the answer is just:
= 339.292 ft^2
