1. A rectangular room is 20 feet long and 10 feet wide. If you paint a red rectangle on the floor that is 9 feet long and 4 feet wide, what is the area of the floor in the room that will NOT be red?
2.A rectangular wall is 11.6 feet long and 8.2 feet high. If the door in the wall is 3 feet wide and 7 feet high, what is the area of the wall excluding the door?

(20*10)-(9*4)=164 sq ft
(11.6*8.2)-(3*7)=74.12 sq ft
