Question 735230: Hi in algebra we are reviewing areas of parallelograms and triangles. I am stuck on a textbook question. I have to find the value of h for a parallelogram. I am confused on how to do it. Can you help me?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Take the area of the parallelogram and divide it by the base of the parallelogram. This will give you the height.
This works because
A = bh
h = A/b
