Question 721954: if the radius and height of a cylinder are each divided by 2 what is the change of surface area of the cylinder
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Surface area = 2pir(r+h)
new surface area as per condition
surface area = 2pi(r/2)((r/2)+(h/2))
=pi.r(r+h)/2
=(1/2)pi.(r+h)
you can find the change
