Question 685936: what is the area of a square whose side measures 2s+5
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A = x^2

A = (2s+5)^2

A = (2s+5)(2s+5)

A = 2s(2s+5)+5(2s+5)

A = 4s^2+10s+10s+25

A = 4s^2+20s+25

So the area is 4s^2+20s+25 square units.
