A 5 foot long cylindrical pipe has an inner diameter of 6 feet and an outer diameter of 8 feet. If the total surface area (inside and out, including the ends) is kpi, what is the value of k?

Area of inner surface=2π*3*5 (circumference*length)=30π
Area of outer surface=2π*4*5 (circumference*length)=40π
Surface area of one end=π4^2-π3^2=16π-12π=4π
Surface area for both ends=8π
Total surface area=40π+30π+8π=78π ft^2=kπ ft^2
k=78
