Question 57648This question is from textbook : A square has a perimeter of 54in. What is the area of this square? This question is from textbook Answer by terbear1963(43)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!First of all, you have to remember that a square has 4 equal sides to it. In your problem, the perimeter is 54 inches. Therefore, with four equal sides, each side is 13.5 inches. ( NOTE: 13.5 inches X 4 sides = 54 inches ) Now you can find the area of the square. The area of a square is your 2 sides multiplied together!! 13.5 inches X 13.5 inches = 182.25 square inches. i hope this helps you!! Your math friend, Terry ( cats7051@yahoo.com )
