Question 56418: Is their a relationship between the perimeter and area?
Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
PERIMETER=2*LENGTH+2*WIDTH
AREA=LENGTH*WIDTH
NUMERICALLY NO!
P/A=(2L+2W)/LW
EXAMPLE
P/A=(2*1+2*10)/(1*10)
P/A=(2+20)/10
P/A=22/10 OR 11/5
EXAMPLE
P/A=(2*5+2*5)/(5*5)
P/A=(10+10)/25
P/A=20/25
P/A=4/5
HOPE THIS HELPS :)
