Question 495183: HOW IS THE HERON'S FORMULA USED FOR CALCULATION OF AREA OF A POLYGON WITHOUT DIVIDING IT INTO TRIANGLES? IF SO HOW? PLEASE TELL

You will have to divide the polygon into triangles, or know some of the interior angles, because four or more known sides does not uniquely determine a polygon. Brahmagupta's formula is similar to Heron's formula; Brahmagupta's formula can be used to find the area of a quadrilateral given the side lengths and two opposite interior angles.
