If you mean the area, you can do it as 6 equilateral triangles with sides of 4.
Area of each = bh/2
h+=+sqrt%284%5E2+-+2%5E2%29+=+sqrt%2812%29
Total area = 6%2A4%2Asqrt%2812%29 sq inches
