Diameter = 4000 miles
surface area of the earth = 4*pi*r^2
= 4*pi*2000^2
= 50 265 482.5
If 2/3 is water 1/3 will be land
.
1/3 of this will be 1/3 *50265482
16 755 160 .8 square miles will be land area
