A cube of side 1 will have a volume of 1 but the surface area of the 6 sides will be 6. But surface area and volume are different measures
volume is cubic and area is square.

It's possible for it to be a bigger number, but the units are different.
A cube 2 units on a side has a volume of 8 cubic units.
It's surface area is 6*2^2 = 24 square units.
