With a regular hexagon the side is the same length as the distance from centre to vertex, in this case 30
So by Pythagoras, the slant height is sqrt ( 30^2 + 10sqrt(3) ^2)
= sqrt (900 + 300) =sqrt 1200 = 20 sqrt 3 = 34.64
