Sketch a model of this room (a rectangular solid) and label all its vertices. Identify at least three pairs of intersecting planes which are not necessarily the wall, floors, or ceiling and describe the line of intersection of each pair.

This might be a bit tough by explanation, but here it goes . . .
step 1: draw a rectangular solid. Label the top verticies A, B, C, and D Starting from the top left and moving clockwise. Label the bottom verticies starting below the A with E, F, G, and H also clockwise.
step 2: identify your planes. BCEH is a plane. ADFG is a plane. CDEF is a plane. ABGH is a plane. They are all diagonal planes passing through the rectangular solid.
step 3: identify lines of intersection. The pair of planes labelled BCEH and ADFG create a line in the solid. The pair of planes ABGH and CDEF also make a line in the solid.
