You cannot determine the perimeter of a rectangle only given the area. For example, a 1 X 40 rectangle has a perimeter of 82, a 2 X 20 rectangle has a perimeter of 44, a 5 X 8 rectangle has a perimeter of 26, a 0.1 X 400 rectangle has a perimeter of 800.2 etc, ad infinitum. There are an infinite number of possible perimeters for a given area.
