Question 183197: How do I find out the surface area of a box that was 0 inches long, 3 inches high, and 2 inches wide. Also another one (for the same equation) was that she had a section of wrapping paper that was 48 inches long and 12 inches wide. Did she have enough. if yes how much left over did she have.. if no ho wmuch more did she need.

3*2=6
since it has a back and front
6*2=12 in.
48*12=576 area of the wrapping paper
576-12=564 in.^2 left over
